User wishes to search for a student by their name. The search bar on top of the page is ready for typing. The user enters in the first letter of their first or last name. The box below the search bar condenses from the entire list of students and assignments into every data field starting with that edlab letter. For instance, if the user was searching for name Charles Belmer, after typing ‘c’ the list below the search bar condenses into all students with a first name, last name, edlab name, or nick name beginning with c. Furthermore, all assignment names beginning with c are also displayed. When the second letter is typed, ‘h’, the same process happens again, condensing the list into all types with fields that beginning with the string ‘ch’ At any time, the user can simply click on one of these displayed names to bring up the info.
